Grid-Fed BESS Support for a Broadbeach High-Rise Construction Project
By replacing a traditional diesel generator with one of our BESS units fed from a 63A grid supply, this Broadbeach high-rise project has reduced diesel consumption and site noise in a tightly controlled environment.
Project Snapshot
Key Outcomes
This project experienced the following results:
Diesel saved per month
Reduced fuel use compared with diesel-only operation
CO2 Avoided
Lower emissions for the monitored month
Dewatering supported
Water removal capacity powered by the system
What It Powered
Project Summary
On this Broadbeach high-rise construction project, GeneRent replaced a traditional diesel generator setup with one of our BESS units powered from an existing 63A grid connection.
The system supports a major dewatering operation removing 8 million litres of water per day, along with site sheds and now the tower crane, all while operating in a strict urban environment.
The result has been a dramatic reduction in diesel use and site noise, helping the project meet operational and environmental demands without relying on a conventional diesel-only power approach.
This is a strong example of how GeneRent can use existing site mains supply and BESS technology to replace traditional diesel generator operation.
